Our History

This website and the forum were established when it was found out that the forum for schizophrenics at www.schizophrenia.com was going down. That website was established as a tribute to the founder's brother who had committed suicide because of schizophrenia.

When we learned the forum was going to go down due to costs, we banded together to keep the community alive. I established a GoFundMe and a Patreon account to finance the site and opened up a similar forum.

The forum is intended as a peer support forum for people with schizophrenia, schizoaffective and other psychotic disorders, or anyone who has experienced psychosis. We plan on being around a long time — so if you have any of these disorders or have experienced psychosis, you are welcome to join.
